104 Hour Online Acupuncture Certification Training Program Course Description:
Acupuncture 400 – 420: Clinical Acupuncture Theory Module:These first 21 one-hour classes cover the clinical application of Chinese Medical theories, focusing on those theories particularly applicable to acupuncture, finishing up with an introduction to Clean Needle Technique.
Acupuncture 421 – 436: Points & Meridians Module: This series of 17 classes covers all of the conventional acupuncture points and the 14 Main Meridians, as well as the most common extraordinary points. The points are rated with a star system allowing you to focus on the most clinically effective points.
Acupuncture 437 – 440: Acupuncture MicroSystems Module: This series of 5 classes covers Auricular, Scalp, and Hand Acupuncture, with a focus on those points and techniques that are most clinically effective.
Acupuncture 441 – 446: Acupuncture Techniques: These six classes address topics including basic and more advanced needling techniques, as well as the use of moxa/heat therapy, electro-acupuncture, laser acupuncture and the traditional instrument assisted soft tissue manipulation techniques of guasha & cupping.
Acupuncture 447 – 451: Treatment of Pain Module: Five classes make up this clinically powerful course, which includes methods of point selection and treatment techniques, for many common painful conditions. While these classes focus on musculoskeletal & neurological pain, some aspects of pain associated with internal medicine are also addressed.
Acupuncture 451- 462: Acupuncture & Chinese Medical Theory Module:   This series of ten, 5-hour classes based on The Foundations of Chinese Medicine by Giovanni Maccocia.
Acupuncture 463: Acupuncture National Exam Prep Course: This is a single 2-hour class which helps doctors prepare for national board examinations in acupuncture.

Online Format: The first 50 classes are one-hour-long PowerPoint presentations narrated by Dr. Jim Ventresca. All the Points classes, and many practical and clinical classes include Video Demonstrations as well. Each class is followed by a short quiz. The final 50 hours of online classes are fashioned from selected readings from, and quizzes on, the most widely used textbook on Chinese medicine today, The Foundations of Chinese Medicine by Giovani Maccocia.

Online CCEs: Each completed hour of online of class earns one hour of Accredited Continuing Chiropractic Education (CCE) credit awarded through the University of Bridgeport Health Sciences Postgraduate Education Department.

Online Administration and Fees: AcuPractice Seminars’ online classes are administered by ChiroCredit.com (also known as OnlineCE.com) and taken on their website.
